This piano was a blessing and is completely paid off! It is hard for people to believe how much I bought it for from the piano store. Totally a blessing from God. I was a little excited!!!
Here is NEVER SEEN BEFORE video footage of it arriving! I had always been curious as to how a grand piano can initially arrive somewhere, so if you're curious, the answer lies in these home videos. This footage was never put on my main blog of ccoatsofmanycolours because I accidentally deleted the videos and some of the pictures from my camera before downloading them, but the wonderful super smart Dan A. knew how to recover them for me. Whew!

The arrival!!!
Oh, this is the piano...it comes in pieces and has to be put together....so that is how you get grand pianos in spaces and places! :-)
Moving it in and figuring out where to place it.
Putting it together
Piano Mover testing it......the piano tuner came a week later to tune it giving it time to settle in its new environment.
Now it was time to move my upright piano out of my place over to my brother and sis in laws house for my niece to have. No point in having two pianos! :-)
The upright piano all loaded onto the truck and heading next door to the brother's place.
The piano mover wasn't contracted to move my upright piano over to my brother's place, he did it as a kind gesture, so my brother helped him.
Getting the piano inside my brother's place.....and it's in!!! A double blessing.....I was blessed with a grand piano and my niece and brother and sister in law were blessed with a upright piano.
BELOW: For old times sake here is one of the last vids I shot at the upright when it was in my place playing Chopin's Waltz Opus 69 No 1.
and playing the song Angel Eyes the last summer I had the upright.
...and here is the first vid I shot at my new grand piano right after the mover left. Keep in mind the tuners hadn't been yet, so it is a bit out of tune at this point.
An excited player!!!
