Breaking from Piano momentarily. Take 5!
The week before the recital was the DULB! Here are a few personal family and friendly pics not posted on my main public blog. The friends who are not piano nerds perhaps will like this post! :-)!!! It was nice that the HD's fell exactly a week before the recital. Nerve prevention: focusing on the HD's and not worrying about the recital.
Last Day of ULB
Ended ULB with some of my favorite gals who aren't so little anymore judging by the pic. I've known all of these gals since either they were born or since they were toddlers; and have babysat, had them over for sleepovers, directed them in children's choir way back in the day....ETC. What an honor it's been to know these lovelies and to see them now grown into beautiful inside and out college girls. I am so proud of them. This little mini reunion was so fun! It was neat to have Sherry B. join us too. She is just one of the kindest people!
L to R: Ashlynn M.; the talented fine art artist, Irish dancer, talented horse rider, and sweetheart, Vienna F.; the super talented Broadway like singer, violinist, Irish dancer, and service oriented gal;(center: Sherry B.) Erica A.; the super fun, flower arranger, outgoing gal full of love, and Ansley W.; the super lovely and classy service oriented gal who happens to have a beautiful singing voice as well!
Earlier that day on the LDULB. My beautiful inside and out niece. I'm kind of biased though being that she is my niece, but she really is a beautiful girl and just super smart too! The saying you can choose you friends, but you cannot choose your family doesn't matter to me. I couldn't have a better niece! Also, on a lighter and funnier note, my niece told me the other day that
if she starts piano lessons next year; that she doesn't intend to play a
beginner song in her first piano recital, but big songs like me. LOL I
told her okay, well it's always good to set big goals. LOL
